How I got here.

About Me

I’ve written my ‘About Me’ page countless times, but each version feels like it only scratches the surface of who I really am. This time, I decided to share how my closest friends and family describe me. So, here’s a little more of the real me:

My name is Seeratt, and I’m engaged to my amazing fiancé, Alex. Together, we have a lovable mutt named Mr. Muttley, who keeps us on our toes.

I grew up in India, where my family runs an Organic Farm. I spent my school years in Rajasthan, keeping busy with everything from riding horses to pottery, sports, and playing in the high school band.

I see myself as a global citizen — someone who doesn’t quite fit in one place, but can find a sense of belonging everywhere. This is something many immigrants can relate to. I’ve traveled extensively around the world, and I’m slowly ticking off the remaining states in the U.S. (only six left!). I’ve lived in three states in India, Bangkok, Thailand, and four states in the U.S.

Professionally, I’ve had a diverse and exciting career. I’ve worked as a sous chef for my grandmother since I could walk, trained under world-class chefs in fine dining in London and Thailand, and developed over 30 retail products for two Food Innovation Labs (many of which you can still find on store shelves today). I've also consulted for top-tier appliance manufacturers.

Right now, I’m focused on Food Innovation & Development, which means I create the products you see at grocery stores, restaurants, and chain eateries. Much of this work is confidential, so while I can’t share the specifics, it’s incredibly rewarding.

In addition to my career, I’m passionate about Three Finger Pinch — my side project and our small homestead. I’m a full-time dog, duck, and chicken mom (with plenty of help from Alex, of course). In the summer and fall, you’ll find me playing polo at the local clubs, and I’ve recently developed a love for all things antique.

My dream for Three Finger Pinch is to build a community around it. I’d love to host dinner parties, cooking classes, and cheese & wine pairings. We’re working on the necessary certifications to offer more of these experiences in the future.

I’ve also just launched my own product, which you can find in the store section. Right now, we’re offering local pickups and drop-offs, but I’m hoping to start shipping nationally in the next month!
